Trekking in Annapurna - Day 1: Kuala Lumpur - Kathmandu

After many months of waiting, 26 March 2014 finally arrived. I must say, i do looked forward to it but at the same time worried that my fitness was not up to par to take on the many trekking days in Annapurna mountain range.

My flight was in the morning at 0955 hours with Malaysia Airlines flight MH170 from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and arrived Kathmandu (KTM) at 1230 hours local time. Thanks to Malaysia Airlines' loyalty programme, Enrich, where they had a very awesome sale sometime in December 2013 and i managed to redeem my miles to KTM at half the cost!

on board flight EY411 from KUL to AUH, i did not managed to snap some pictures on the J class seats and cabin as i was late.  when i entered the aircraft, passengers was already seated and i earned myself some annoyed stares and 'that' look from some of them.

MAS A380 Joyride

A few weeks before 5 June 2012, i was reading about the deliveries of aircraft to airlines for work purpose. that include MAS's first A380. made some RTs and comments here and there on twitter. as usual, i had some good response, views and opinions from other avgeeks and suddenly, a surprise came.

it read, "would you like to be part of the MAS A380 Joyride?"

i read some interesting headlines last week regarding attire.  everyone has their own way of dressing and it is okay to their own eyes.  but when is it ‘not ok’ to others?  what has it got to do with flying, you may ask.  i am not sure about you but I tend to dress ‘properly’ whenever i take any flight.  while the word proper is very subjective, let’s ponder on a couple of excerpts i took from an aviation news portal.
